Wednesday 19-March
We took an early morning flight from Chennai to Mumbai, but given the congestion in the skies and on the roads, didn't reach our hotel until the afternoon. We spent the afternoon walking around South Bombay, visiting the Gateway to India, the Taj Palace Hotel, and wandering around the other historic British colonial buildings.
At the Gateway to India and Taj Palace Hotel There was construction happening all around the Gateway to India - with no barriers or protection for either the pedestrians or workers.

Around Bombay Making sugarcane juice, getting a shave on the sidewalk, checking your weight, "No Ox Carts During Rush Hour", and tricked out cabs were some of the things we saw while wandering around South Bombay
