Sunday 16-March
It was a packed day that started with an hour drive down the East Coast Road (ECR) to Mahablipuram where we visted temples near the beach that were carved into stone more than 1400 years ago. This area was one of the areas impacted by the Tsunami. After Mahabalipuram, we had lunch at an all-veg Indian restaurant called Sangeetha's. In the evening, we went shopping in T. Nagar, one of Chennai's busiest shopping districts. Just watching the traffic jams and entire families traveling together by motorbike was a fun experience.
