Tuesday 18-March
It was another packed day in Chennai. We started at the Marina Beach, apparently the second longest (city?) beach in the world. From Marina Beach, we headed to Santhome Church and then to the outskirts of town to St. Thomas Mount, where St. Thomas visited centuries ago. We headed next to the RadioOne Chennai radio station where friend John Vijay is the programming director and where we learned to play the Indian game Carom. We had our lunch with our driver Sethu at Saravana Bhavan, then went to see the Chennai Central Railway Station before saying our goodbyes to Sethu.
