May / Chennai / "Auto" Movie Shoot - Wine Shop Set

My friend John Vijay is starring as the lead villain in an upcoming Tamil movie called "Auto". The hero is Arya, the heroine is Pooja - both big Tamil movie stars. The movie is about auto rickshaw drivers, and will be released in August/September 2006.

John's character is called SOG - for 'Son of Gun'.

This series of pictures was taken during the shooting of the Wine Shop scenes. In Chennai, Wine Shops are places that sell, and sometimes serve, booze. Strangely, the only kind of "wine" sold in a Wine Shop is something called Golconda, which is more like a cooking Sherry.
